Ergo Proxy is a Japanese cyberpunk anime television series, produced by Manglobe, directed by Shūkō Murase and written by Dai Satō. The series ran for 23 episodes from February to August 2006 on the Wowow satellite network. It is set in a post-apocalyptic future where humans and AutoReiv androids coexist peacefully until a virus gives the androids self-awareness, causing them to commit a series of murders. Inspector Re-L Mayer is assigned to investigate, discovering a more complicated plot behind it that involves a humanoid species known as "Proxy" who are the subject of secret government experiments.

My thoughts on Ergo Proxy!

I watched this anime cause of Re-l Mayer (the main protagonist of the anime) also everyone noticed that the makeup inspired by Amy Lee from the rock band Evanescence also i noticed too but actually i saw an reel on instagram that the creator of Ergo Proxy in a interview said that Re-l Mayer's makeup inspired by Avril Lavigne and the vkei bands like Malice Mizer and Moi Dix Mois too especially the member of the vkei group Mana Sama . About the anime, it's very futuristic and so amazing also sad too and i will say some scenes are so creepy and scary as well but i liked some scenes in some episodes also i really loved the last episode sm omg which is about that is Real (a clone of Re-l made by Dendalus) with Vincent (as his Proxy form) they're together and he wants to going back to see his friends and he gaves his necklace to her, so Real flies away and she's gone. Actually it didn't show some romantic moments with Re-l with Vincent, showed some scenes but that they didn't show that they're kissing etc i understand but actually they're in love each other as well. Also i love Pino in the anime, she's so cute autoreiv that she's with Re-l and Vincent doing adventures, she likes to play piano (keyboard), playing and coloring also the sad moment is that Pino didn't see her father. I felt bad about Vincent cause he knows he's proxy etc poor Vincent anyways this anime as i said again is very amazing omg i didn't expected that. Also the opening of the anime is Kiri by Monoral which the opening is so aesthetic and amazing too omg also i really REALLY LOVE THE ENDING OMG RADIOHEAD MENTION Paranoid Android by Radiohead THIS SONG OMG I LOVE THIS SONG SM ALSO MY FAV ALBUM OF RADIOHEAD OK COMPUTER YESS ^_^ that's the songs are using in the opening and the ending in the anime but the ending song one IS SO PEAK.
